Maya & David

Welcome to the tiny website for our micro wedding.

The itinerary

please no gifts

• please no gifts

the ceremony

Atop gorgeous Calton Hill
in the heart of Edinburgh

the after show

Less reception, more dinner & drinks at The Collective on Calton Hill

The lodging

Here’s a simple map of the area with some important locations.

There are tons of cool places to stay in the city, all within walking distance of the Royal Mile.

We’re staying at an Airbnb near the Palace at Holyroodhouse. Last time, we stayed at the Market Street Hotel—downhill from the castle—and can vouch for it.

Please feel free to reach out if you want any lodging advice!

The hotspots

If you’re wandering about, here are a few places we love in Edinburgh.

tron kirk market

Really cool local arts and crafts set in an old church.

the milkman

Good coffee, wonderful pastries, cozy location.

the halfway house

No-frills pub to get whisky and a surprisingly good sausage roll.

The skinny

Scotland’s weather can be unpredictable. Plan for chilly. Plan for damp. Plan for windy.

You won’t need a car in Edinburgh. If you’re exploring other areas, a car is nice to have, but trains and busses are abundant.

Bring comfy walking shoes. Edinburgh is old. So are its streets.

More info to come!

Official invitations will be sent out later this year.
